In this exhibition of recent paintings, local artist Colleen Heathwood James draws inspiration from her immediate home surrounds. Colourful birds, foliage and flowers from surrounding gardens and the Eungella rainforests feature alongside landscapes that hold special meaning. Together, these works speak to the importance of the natural environment for Colleen, in particular its role in shaping her sense of self.
