Colleen Heathwood James

Colleen was born in Mackay NQ, and in 2001 moved to Eumundi from Brisbane after graduating from University of Queensland with a degree majoring in Art History and Psychology. There she completed a post-graduate Diploma in Art Therapy. She managed the well-known Mooloolaba Art Gallery – The Blue Dolphin Gallery – until 2007 when she left the Sunshine Coast to move to Mission Beach, North Queensland; from there moving back to Mackay working, and painting for, Milton House Gallery a from an art studio in Eungella – a beautiful rainforest area west of Mackay.
